when all you've got to keep is strong...

ok so i haven't exactly been keeping up with this. to be quite honest i haven't even tried. oh well, here's to trying harder. anyway, last night i lead worship for a local young adult gathering, something i haven't done for quite a while. it was a great night. the band was tight, the set was great, but most importantly the group was engaged. it is an incredible time when a unified group of hearts and minds are all praising their God together. it's a time that i have missed for a while. a time i have missed leading people into for a while. its such a beautiful experience to be able to lead/facilitate, and i missed it so much. not so much for my own personal reasons, but more for the responsibility. i took it for granted, now i appreciate it so much more. because it's not about me at all. i'm thankful for second chances.
